Two-way double ratchet podger for securing leg and scaffolding nuts and bolts

The Stage Depot Two-Way Double Reversible Ratchet Podger is a professional, hard-earing tool designed for the theatrical industry. Featuring both a 19 & 21mm socket size, which are an essential for tightening and aligning bolt holes on stage and truss or securing scaffolding clamps.

Our Stage Depot Two-Way Blue ring reversible podgers are professional, heavy-duty tools designed for the theatrical industry. Incorporating both 19 and 21mm socket sizes allows our podger to be used with M12 bolts, often used for securing stage decks and trussing together and for securing scaffolding clamp or stage deck leg clamps. Featuring a 4 mm diameter tapered end that allows rigging and AV technicians to easily align bolt holes. Manufactured using premium, hard-weathering steel, our double podger can meet the demands of theatrical and event rigging challenges.

19 & 21mm Ratchet Sockets

Our Blue Ring Two-Way Double podger features both a 19 and 21mm ratchet sockets which are most commonly found on M12 bolts used for securing stage decks and trussing together while the 21mm socket size is perfect for securing scaffolding clamps, an essential for shows and events creating large steel structures.

Tapered 4mm Diameter End

The tapered end of our double podger provides an essential time-saving tool for riggers, allowing for bolt holes on trussing and stage to be easily aligned, speeding up assembly, especially during time-critical events, festivals and touring performances.

What hardware does the 19mm/21mm spanner fit?

Our two-way ratchet podger can be used with 19 mm heads, which are often found on standard-size M12 bolt heads and are most commonly used for securing stage deck platforms, lighting and truss accessories. The 21 mm size fits standard-size M14 bolts, which can be found on most UK/EU scaffolding clamps, stage deck leg clamps and various couplings and fittings.

What is the pointed end use for on the bottom of a podger?

The tapered end at the base of our podgers are designed for assisting with the alignment of bolt holes before tightening. In fast paced, high pressure environments like touring shows and festivals these additions can be an essential riggers to speed up assembly time frames.

Can I attach a safety lanyard to this podger for when working at height?

Absolutely, all of our stage depot podgers feature a wide 42mm lanyard slot that allows for most safety lanyards to be connected to them for when working at height. Our Stage Depot Lanyard connects directly to our podgers without the need for additional safety cables.
