Rosco E-Colour+ is a range of professional, high quality lighting gels. Not only an industry standard in theatre, film & TV and touring event lighting, but are also suitable for a range of domestic uses. In the kitchen, in the office, and a popular choice for lighting up your building during seasonal events.
Rosco E-Colour+ is an optically clear polyester film (PET) coated with a flame retardant dye solution to a precisely controlled thickness and can easily be cut to size for a wide range of applications. Originally designed to change the colour output of theatre lanterns, gels (also known as colour gels, colour filters or lighting gels) are now regularly used for live events, film, photography, architectural installations, art projects and increasingly colour correcting LED light sources.
Please note that the colour filter samples shown on this website are the closest possible display colours and should be used as a guide only. Colour swatch sample books are available and are recommended for exact colour matching.

Rosco Supergel (High Temperature) alternatives
Rosco Supergel lighting gels are specified at a higher softening temperature, offering better heat resistance and colour stability when used with hot theatrical or studio fixtures. The Rosco Supergel Swatch Book contains a sample of each high temperature gel in the Supergel range.

E-Colour+ includes different filters and materials for colour correction, colour effects, diffusion and reflection. Because both the Rosco E-Colour+ and the LEE gel lines use the European gel numbering system, E-Colour+ is equivalent to LEE of the same number code in most cases.
