Showtec AirDrive 2.4 IP Wireless DMX transceiver

The Showtec AirDrive 2.4 IP is a compact DMX512 transceiver that can be switched between transmitter and receiver functionality. It is designed for truss mounting and temporary outdoor use, and provides a quick and easy way to set up a wireless DMX512 connection. In transmitter mode it can transmit in G3 or G4 mode, in receiver mode, it is capable of G3 and G4S mode. A functional setup requires two or more units: one set up as a transmitter and one or more set up as a receiver and paired with the transmitter. There is no limit to the number of receivers that can be paired with the transmitter.

For ease of installation, the AirDrive 2.4 IP has a specially designed housing with a recess that exactly matches a truss tube and is also supplied with a mounting bracket for any other application. Line-of-sight operation is recommended for optimum reception and maximum range. The AirDrive 2.4 IP has IP-rated Power Pro True connectors and is available with 3 or 5-pin DMX XLR connectors. It has 3 additional optically isolated DMX outputs that can be used as DMX splitters/boosters.
