At Stage Depot we stock black cotton casement fabric that is perfect for masking. Offered in two different widths, 122cm and 150cm, this material is offered both by the linear metre or as a complete roll.

Highly Cost Effective

When compared to other theatrical materials such as wool serges or velvets, casement is a highly affordable fabric which is perfect for masking borders, legs and tabs for budget-conscious venues. It can also be used when large areas need to be covered and provides excellent cost-to-area ratios.

Flame Retardant

Despite the lower cost of these cotton materials, they are flame retardant, which is perfect for use within a range of theatres and event spaces. Treated to NDFR standards, these materials would need to be retreated over time with flame retardants such as Firecheck flame retardant.
