Black theatre tank trap for 48mm steel or aluminium tube
A professional, high quality stage tank trap with a weighted 600x600mm baseplate and double locking 50mm tube receiver to rig a vertical scaffold pole. Perfect for quickly setting up and packing down semi-permanent lighting rigs and featuring a handy cut-out for easy stacking and transporting.
Stage Depot Tank Trap is made of a heavy, steel baseplate, measuring 600x600mm with a 50mm diameter vertical receiver, fitted with dual wing bolts to secure 48mm barrel in place. A cutout in the centre of the baseplate offers a convenient method for transporting and storage. Permanently secure this baseplate using the four cornered bolt holes or add one of our stage weights for extra stability.
Ideal for creating lighting rigs in the wings and temporary structures, these tank traps make the perfect addition to any theatre, stage, temporary event or live entertainment venue.

Large Cut-out handle
Featuring a new large cut-out handle at the rear of our tank trap, it is designed to offer assistance to ease the transportation of our Stage Depot Tank Trap base plate.
Dual Wing Nuts
Ascending vertically along the side of the 50mm receiver are dual wingnuts designed to keep 48mm aluminium and steel scaffolding tubes secure within our tank trap baseplate. Ensuring uprights remain secure allows them to be used for creating touring lighting and speaker stands for shows, events and productions.
Upgrade to a four wheeled version
Upgrade your standard tank trap to a four wheeled version with our Stage Depot upgrade kit. Attach these ultra-smooth all black castors to the base of the tank trap to create the four wheeled version./p>
