Doughty Standard Pantographs

A standard 28mm TV spigot (top)

Each pantograph is connected at the top by a standard 28mm TV spigot, making it compatible with an array of studio fittings.

For use in a fixed horizontal position, connect the pantograph to a Doughty Barrel Socket Clamp or Doughty TV Quick Clamp. These products feature a 28mm spigot receiver and will clamp to any standard steel or aluminium bar, 48 to 51mm in diameter. From this position equipment can be dropped in vertically.

Alternatively, connect to either a Doughty Standard Barrel Trolley or Doughty Slimline Barrel Trolley. This features a 28mm spigot receiver and rollers attach to 48 to 51mm bar. This allows equipment to be dropped in and out, vertically, and flown in and out, horizontally.

Also compatible with Doughty Studio Rail using the Doughty Studio Rail Six Wheel 28mm Receiver.

Three point receiver (bottom)

The patograph is fitted with a three point receiver at the bottom for installing equipment.

Carefully designed to include three points of safety, the receiver's 6mm pin quickly and safely takes the initial load of the equipment. A sword pin allows 360 degrees of rotation, with a knob which enables the equipment to be locked off at the chosen position.

Connecting options include a 28mm spigot receiver (Euro or DIN), a 12mm bolt hole for mounting half couplers and clamps, and two additional 6mm holes.
