Finished in all-black, these professional heavy-duty set brakes offer a premium, ultra-smooth, near-silent operation that lifts set pieces of their castors and provides additional frictional force that prevents movement and protects stage floors.
Our Stage Depot Heavy-Duty Push-Pull Toggle Clamp (often referred to as a wagon brake or set brake), securely locks set pieces vertically by lifting them off their castors completely eliminating the need to drill holes into stage floors. Finished in a discreet all-black coating, these clamps blend seamlessly into the dark stage floors and backdrops, saving you the hassle of taping or spraying more visible versions.
Each clamp includes a removable, all-black rubber foot extensions which applies additional frictional force that enhances stability while protecting stage surfaces from damage. The M10 threaded extension allows for precise height adjustment, which is easily secured using the two lock-off nuts.
Designed specifically for the rigorous demands of live theatre, this heavy-duty model features a 2.5x greater lifting force, a 20% larger rubber foot base, and an extended distance of travel than our M8 version. It is a must-have solution for securing large set pieces in demanding production environments.
