The DAP TA-4.750 is a compact and lightweight 4-channel DSP power amplifier for touring applications. In a 1U rack space it delivers 4x 750 W into 4 ohms, is capable of driving 2-ohm loads and can be used in bridge mode for even more power. Designed for low impedance and high current, it achieves over 90% efficiency with excellent stability.
The DSP can be controlled via a network connection and free PC software (Windows 10/11) and offers input delays of up to 100 ms, output delays of up to 20 ms, +/- 18 dB level matching, 4x4 audio route mixing, 8-band parametric input equalisers, 8-band parametric output equalisers, high and low pass filters, FIR filters with up to 512 taps, peak and RMS limiters, phase control and more. The amplifier supports IP and output voltage/current, temperature and protection can be monitored over the network. It also has a built-in switch that allows the network to be daisy-chained to multiple amplifiers. The LCD screen shows status and settings, which can be adjusted using the rotary knob next to it.
The universal switching power supply uses active PFC and soft-switching technology, accepts input voltages from 100 - 250 V AC and is optimised for the audio power amplifier.
