Stadium based performance all within a portable PC Wing

The ultimate stadium performance programming wing all within a compact PC wing. Offering lighting designers premium motorised control, 64-universe output, and total RGB customisation all direct from a laptop.

MagicQ Stadium Connect is a PC-based programming interface with the same programming keyset and dual crossfaders as the MQ250M and MQ500M. Outputting 64 universes directly from the wing, and the ability to pre-vis up to 256 universes, MagicQ Stadium Connect is the ultimate solution for complete control on-the-go. With 10 backlit and motorised faders and 10 backlit playback encoders with executors with plenty of programmable real estate for your show.

Up to 64 Universes Direct

On the Stadium Connect all universes are available direct from MagicQ PC over industry the standard lighting protocols sACN, ArtNet and Pathport, without the need for additional processing nodes the Stadium Connect is real value for money.

Motorisation

Designed for versatility, the MagicQ Stadium Connect features a motorised playback section that effortlessly adapts to your workflow at the touch of a button. With 10 motorised faders and 10 programmable encoders across 6 switchable banks, you can instantly access up to 202 individual playbacks. The Stadium Connect also supports multiple fader modes to suit a range of live scenarios, including:

Operating Modes

Programmer Mode

Quickly adjust the brightness (intensity) of individual fixtures, groups, or specific channels as you program your show.

Master Mode

Take instant, live control of lighting levels without any pre-programming—perfect for making quick adjustments on the fly.

Theatre Mode

Dual 100mm crossfade faders paired with large GO & BACK buttons offer venues the traditional and precise levels of control expected for theatrical performances.

Playback Encoders

Enhance live operation with highly adaptable playback encoders. Each encoder features clear digital labels directly above it on the display, showing its current assignment in real time.

  • Total Control: Easily assign them to adjust brightness (intensity), LTP channels, FX size, FX speed, rate, or timing.
  • Ultimate Flexibility: Set encoders to control their own independent cue stacks, link them directly to the fader below them, or use them to manage an entire bank or page of playbacks at once.

Illumination & Customisation

The Stadium Connect features illuminated faders, tracks and encoders, together with the new updated graphics that take MagicQ to a whole new level of customisations for lighting designers.

Each playback fader track and encoder top has full RGB illumination enabled, allowing users to select standard built-in functions or customise each queue stack individually.

Specifications

Does the Stadium Connect work as a standalone console?

No. The Stadium Connect is a PC wing (programming interface). It has no internal "brain" or processing motherboard. It must be connected via USB to a Mac, Windows, or Linux computer running the free ChamSys MagicQ software to function.

How many DMX universes can it output directly?

Out of the box, it can output 64 universes directly from the software via network protocols (like Art-Net, sACN, or Pathport) without requiring any extra processing hardware. It also supports up to 400 universes for pre-visualization (pre-programming your show offline).

Does it unlock the "Demo Mode" restrictions on the MagicQ PC software?

Yes. Connecting the Stadium Connect completely unlocks the MagicQ software from "Demo Mode." This opens up advanced software features, including full MIDI/Timecode triggers, execution windows, audio control, and remote control capabilities.
