Swisson XSR DMX & RDM Splitter Single Rack

Swisson's XSR splitters are interference-resistant DMX and RDM splitters and boosters and reliably process DMX and RDM signals in professional use. They can be used by the specially designed power supply even in difficult network conditions. All ports are individually optically isolated and very well protected against transient overvoltages.
In "DMX only" mode, the XSR splitters filter out all non-DMX data and generate a pure DMX signal without RDM or other protocols.
The XSR splitters from Swisson are "Discoverable", which means they are visible to the RDM controller. The localisation of errors is thus simplified.

RDM (Remote Device Management) is an extension of the DMX512 protocol for monitoring and configuring DMX512 devices. It runs simultaneously with the DMX512 over the same lines.

From an RDM-capable controller, the DMX addresses, device profiles and other parameters can be centrally set and monitored.

There is no need to change the DMX address with the ladder.

RDM is bidirectional, unlike DMX, and therefore requires bidirectional, RDM-capable splitters.
