Steeldeck Platforms consist of a steel truss frame with a socket in each corner and a high quality 18mm plywood top. The truss frame is made up from a top chord, a bottom chord, and a distinctive zigzag web.
All Steeldeck units are designed to carry a static load of at least 7.5kN/m2. Some patterns and sizes are able to carry more. Overloading may cause damage to the decks. Cutting holes in the tops will also weaken the decks.
Steeldeck platforms comes in a range of shapes and sizes, including circles and triangles, enabling complex set ups and truly innovative design. Platforms are also available with a matt black painted finish for an additional cost. Key Features of Steeldeck Stage Platform
- 18 mm birch ply plywood top which is screwed to the top chord
- Top backed with a Class 0 flame retardant acoustic foam, to reduce noise and vibration
- Socket in the corner takes a scaffolding tube leg which is held in position with a M12 nut
- Platforms are connected to each other by bolting through pre-drilled holes along each edge
- Steel is powder-coated black with rust-resistant pretreatment
